The look Marius turns on Wraith could melt steel. He says nothing, however.

So, the conversations seems to be slowing.

We have several ideas to consider.

First the idea of weakening the will of our prisoner with various methods, including drugs, blood deprivation, and other means of torture.

Second, as we lack a reader of minds, we will need to question the prisoner verbally. All precautions available to be taken against it influencing us, using magic, or summoning aid from its master. This all assumes this is actually a Baali in truth and not just an unfortunate cainite foolish enough to trespass on my domain. We will ascertain this first.

Third, there is the option idea of allowing the release of the prisoner after interrogation to see what it does and where it goes. There is much danger in this plan, but we are considering all options. Audentes Fortuna Adiuvat, even if I don't believe in Fortuna.

Let us discuss who will be doing the questioning, and what questions we will be asking.

I have some mastery over the powers of command. Whole it is not a fool proof plan, it may give some assurance that truth is spoken and that the prisoner remains.

Very well. We also need someone who can watch for auras.

What questions should we ask?

My initial thoughts are,

Are you a Baali or allied with the Baali?
Have you made an infernal pact?
Who else are you aware of that is or is working for a Baali?
What plans of the Baali are you aware of?
What locations do the Baali use for meetings or storing supplies?

I would suggest asking after the purpose of the ongoing ritual the Ba'ali are performing, and perhaps it's requirements. I have my suspicions as to the ritual's purpose, but confirmation would be welcome. Knowing the components required for the ritual would help us in preventing them from being acquired.

Simon nods

We also will need to figure out who is best equipped to prepare the prisoner for questioning, using the aforementioned methods.

Perhaps break is too strong a word. It suppresses the will, but does not strip it away. It is not only the will we are working to break. When enough pressure is applied a subject actually can loose touch with what is important to them.
If you have the ability to suppress will of which you speak then offer it and it will be used accordingly, but we are not relying solely on the powers of the blood in this endeavor.

Marius' tone is sarcastic.

Alright.  Sigfried, take over the questioning.  You may have what resources are required, including wraith here if you desire.  I will be focusing on the greater matters of the domain.  Alert me when you have information.

Sigfried watched Marius go, his eyebrows raised.

I am surprised. I honestly thought he would balk at nothing to stop an agent of the nemesis. I guess torture is one step too far. A mercy surely, though the benefactor is is rather unusual.

Lord Baron. I have no skills personally in the art of torture. I simply offered it as a suggestion, so I do not know what Marius means when he says there are so many of us willing to "volunteer our services".

If you need answers this second then perhaps Sir wraith has the skill necessary. Otherwise I can send for my man who does know his way around those specific tools, and a different location may be more suitable.

I need answers as soon as they present themselves, but if the proper course takes time then so be it.  I did not assume you would conduct the affair personally of course, just make sure it is seen to.  Perhaps Wraith has the skills but I do not know him, and I do not place important tasks in the hands of those I do not know.

We have our questions, and our tools.  Use any and all means you see fit, so long as he does not move.  However, if you learn anything, anything at all, be it a truth or a lie, you will have the knowledge of that lapse removed from its mind.  Compare what it says one night to the next.  Lies will no doubt be inconsistent and lead to contradictions.  Even if they do not, I wish it to be unaware of anything it has told us should we decide to pursue the bolder gambit.
