Unread Messages

Is anyone else having an issue where it looks like there are always recent unread posts in the University? No matter how many times I read the thread or how many times I click mark all posts read, I still see an unread message indicator in the University.

Lol. There may be a secret forum in the university that is housing a conversation right now. You probably are seeing that message because it is a subsection of university and this forum website seems to have some issues with functionality. It will he over soon and the st's can detach it etc.

I have also noticed that sometimes threads won't show the notification, and other times they show them over and over even if I've looked. Not sure what does it, I assumed glitch?

Going forward I'll put private scenes in the misc section I made so ppl don't get false alarms.

Are you making sub boards just to host singular private conversations?

On request but mostly not yet no.

Can we talk about how because the name of this message whenever I get emails about this I think I have an unread private message.

Until I figure out a fix for the sub board, I'd turn the email option off.

Ok, permissions and such didn't look weird, so I moved the private convo to the misc scenes board. that should stop the weird notifications.

It might not be anything you can control, this website is not the best for functionality. Have you noticed it doesn't have a "read newest post" button. That always bugs me.

Yeah there's a few things I've been scratching my head about for sure. I'm hoping they're all things I can figure out. We shall see!

It does have a "View posts since last visit" button. They general serve the same purpose.
