Auspex vs Obfuscate

Is each power in the Discipline a level or is it Basic/Intermediate/Advanced/Elder/Master for levels?

The dots count, a level 2 beats a level 1 even though they are both basic. However you have to actually be looking for an obfuscated player.

ST's reserve the right to not allow a player to use auspex without reason, if he or she doesn't normally look around with Auspex and there's an obfuscated player in the room.

Along those lines, if you have multiple Elder (6dot) powers I am reading you as saying it doesn't beat someone with only one such?

Not what I'm saying at all, a 6 dot will beat a 5 dot.Multiple six dots will not defeat a single six dot as the powers are the same power level, it results in a tie and therefore a challenge
