Minor Roads and Paths

The following is a list of the Minor roads and Paths, they are considered Minor because either the road is followed only by one clan, or that the path itself must be kept secret from the others or they would risk death.

Not all roads have a Sobriquet or Aura, and many of these roads are still evolving.


Road of the Hive and Path of the Hive (Via Hyron) is a minor Road that is followed almost exclusively by the Baali.  Aura - Justice. Knowing that their purpose on this world is holy and sanctioned by the One Above, the Abelenes act with supreme conviction.

The Road of Service (Via Servilis) is a minor Road practiced solely by Gargoyles. Aura - Servitude, through service I am set free.

The Road of Night (Via Noctis) Followed mostly by Lasombra  Sobriquet  Redeemers or Confessors Aura Guilt

The Road of Bones (Via Ossium) or Tariq el-A'Tham to Islamic Cainites, is one of the minor Roads followed by Cappadocians. Sobriquet: Necronomists Aura: Silence. The stillness of the grave and the hush of quiet study surround followers of this road.

Road of Metamorphosis or Via Mutationis followed mostly by Tzimisce with Vicissitude Sobriquet: Seekers or Metamorphosists Aura:Inhumanity, they are decidedly alien and have worked hard to cast aside their old form in place of a new one. There are two paths of this road as it begins to evolve - Path of Flesh: Where seekers look for the perfect manifestations of their bodies, and Path of Spirit: Where Metamorphosists regard the flesh as inconsequential, only a tool to aid them in perfecting their soul.

Road of Lilith or Derech Lilit: Worshippers of Lilith, who must hide their road or risk their lives. Sobriquet Witches, Bahari, Lilins, Ki-Sikil-lil-la-ke Aura Carved and bleeding, the Bahari's aura manifests as any other vampire's might though chunks and swirls may appear carved out of the whole. If one concentrates, they might think they see symbols in these shifting carvings, but can catch none of them. Further, the aura seems to drip or bleed making the "carvings" appear more like wounds.  This Road has three paths that have survived the countless inquisitions against it. The Path of Thorns-a Path focused on physical pain. Members study pain scientifically, seeking to codify breaking points and ways to break a victim's threshold to make it see. The Path of Veils- a Path focused on Lilith as a rebel and counter-figure to both the abrahamic God and Caine. and the Path of Making - a Path dedicated to finding and propagating Lilith's demon-children. The Lamia bloodline also has it's own path The Cult of Lamia Which venerates knowledge and mastery gained through direct experience, it's holidays frequently involve sex, violence, and sacrifice.

The Road of Set is the spiritual Road of the most of the Followers of Set.  Sobriquet Setites Aura Devotion. Servants of Set do everything with an eye to how they might best serve their dark god.

The Path of Apep is an offshoot of the road of Set, they embrace Chaos, and as a result most of the Road of Set detest them.  Sobriquet Nameless Aura Gratification, their aura is similar to temptation but it is instant and chaotic not planned

The Road of Paradox is followed exclusively by Ravnos -  Sobriquet  Asura Aura Confidence, The Asura are always certain that they are where they should be, doing what they are meant to do.

The Ordo Aenigmatis or the Path of Enigmas is followed by Malkavians who seek to understand the Mysterious Spiral:  Sobriquet Enigmatists Aura Intellect. Unforgiving resist any attempt to appeal to their emotional sides.

The Ordo Ecstatsis or Path of Ecstasy is followed by Malkavians who seek to understand the Mysterious Spiral through sensation.  Sobriquet  Ecstatics Aura Rapture. Using earthly sensations and passions to transcend the mundane, the Ecstatics sees beyond them.

The Ordo Malfeasance of path of Sin is followed by Malkavians who seek to understand the Mysterious Spiral through deliberate Sin. These Malkavians are often hunted down and killed.  Sobriquet  Sinners Aura Seduction. Masters of the physical have an uncanny knack for knowing the desires of others.

The Path of Entelechy is one of the more ancient Paths of Enlightenment. Teachers of the Path are usually awakening Brujah elders that are horrified to witness the degraded state of their once proud clan. Sobriquet Ancient Ones Aura Stoicism. Philosophers face undeath with pragmatism and equanimity.

The Road of the Abyss is followed by Abyss mystics of the Lasombra clan, their Aura is one of Darkness.  Sobriquet  Mystics

The Road of Blood -  Sobriquet Sentinels - Followed exclusively by Assamites Aura Resolve, a follower of the road of blood takes his task seriously and is dedicated to following through.

The Code of Samiel is followed by the Warrior Caste of Salubri Aura Protection, Samiel's chosen will put oneself in harms way for another, a few however have slowly begun to show an aura of Fury. They are now called Wraths and are filled with divine rage and violence.
